Final Graphic Design

Final Graphic Design Project
For my final graphic design project, I choose advertising campaign. The motivation behind the project is to show the skill of design and idea in advertising field and a short film animation.

Project Summary
I choose FIFA world cup 2014 as my title of the project. The reason I do this campaign is to promote the world cup 2014, increase their excited feeling, make more people interesting in this soccer sport and let them feel the difference from this upcoming big event of the world. Research skill, Photoshop, illustrator and after effect skill will be the challenge to me for upgrading myself to the next level. Beside that animation concept, art direction, timing the animation, typography, layout and design management is also a requirement to complete this project. My target is for someone who the is already fanning of the world cup  or soccer and those who dislike soccer which I will introduce them through this campaign.

Objective
I believe that this project will bring me to the next stage of design, which will be up to standard, increase my knowledge about design, creativity, idea and every detail about design because every single of this will show the good work. For this campaign, I plan to do print, digital and some promotional material. Challenges that might stand in the way of accomplishing my design is I have to meet the deadline and complete the outcome as much as possible.

Research
I have to do a research any previous work of FIFA world cup, promotion animation, and the campaign, they have prior work in the subject area. My design process is separate into different part which include brainstorming, research, idea development, sketch, storyboard, outcome process and final outcome. From this campaign, resources that needed to complete the task is Adobe creative suite, network, electronic device and equipment, fund and most important is the passion of being a designer.

Design Strategy
To make sure that my approach to this project, follow the timeline of this project planning. I will come out with a timeline to show the different components and stages in my design process and I will follow this timeline of this project planning to make my complete every stage in time.

Deliverables

At the end of this project, the final outcome that I will provide is print ads which will be a series, infographic that show some of the history or data statistic that related to my project tittle, digital will be short and simple animation that provide information about the world cup 2014.

What is advertising?
Advertising is the method used by businesses, companies and other organisation to promote their goods and service to the public. The ultimate aim of advertising is to increase sales by showing these goods and service in a positive light.

Catchphrases
Advertising is designed to make an impression on its audience. Sometimes an ad only has a few moments to grab the audience's attention before they turn the page, change the channel, drive past or click onto the new screen.

Some of the most successful advertising campaigns involve catchphrases or slogon that have become so ingrained in the community's consciousness that they are almost as well known as the products themselves.

Persuasive language
Any language that triggers an emotional response or attempts to change the attitudes of a viewer, reader or listener is known as persuasive language. Advertisers often use persuasive language very deliberately in order to get a positive response in the audience. If people feel tha tthe product or service will benefit them, they are more likely to want to purchase it.

What is digital advertising?
Digital advertising is that makes use of electronic devices such as personal computers, smartphones, cellphones, tablets and game consoles to engage with stakeholders. Digital marketing applies technologies or platforms such as websites, email, apps and social networks. Many organisations cross traditional and digital marketing channels.

What is promotional materials?
All types of businesses use promotional materials to market their products and services. Promotional materials can include sales collateral material, advertisements and even small, everyday products that contain the name and phone number of a business. Promotional products can serve many purposes before or after a sale.

What is infographic
Information graphics or infographics are graphic visual representations of , data or knowledge intended to present complex information quickly and clearly. They can improve cognition by utilizing graphics to enhance the human visual system’s ability to see patterns and trends. The process of creating infographics can be referred to as data visualizationinformation design, or information architecture.

What is infographic animation?
Animation is where the world of communication is shifting, whether it's animated infographics, whiteboard animations, or explainer videos. Video is just becoming the best way to enchance the customer experience, and get them to take action, leading to the ever-valuable conversion.
